Nestled in the heart of London at 30-33 Jermyn Street, Waterstones Jermyn Street Cafe is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it’s a haven for book lovers and a cozy retreat for those seeking a break from the bustling city. This charming cafe offers a warm atmosphere, surrounded by an impressive selection of books, making it an ideal spot for both bibliophiles and casual visitors alike.

Upon entering, you're greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly brewed coffee, coupled with the soothing buzz of people engaged in quiet conversation or immersed in their favorite reads. The comfortable seating is perfect for long stays, whether you're catching up with friends or diving into the latest bestseller.

The cafe serves a selection of beverages and light bites that might not be extensive but certainly cater to a variety of tastes. While some guests have noted a preference for healthier options beyond the standard sweet pastries and packed sandwiches, there’s still something delightful about indulging in a classic pastry while sipping on a rich cappuccino. Customers like Ed Fulton have praised the excellent coffee and great value, making this a wallet-friendly option for those looking to treat themselves without breaking the bank.

Waterstones Jermyn Street Cafe is not just about food and drinks; it's about the experience. As customer Teresa R beautifully highlights, the ambiance encourages you to relax while surrounded by books, making it a haven for creative thinking or leisurely reading. The slow pace of life here encourages you to take a deep breath, let your worries float away, and simply enjoy the moment. However, keep in mind that internet access has received mixed reviews, with some patrons citing it as slow, which may impact those looking to work remotely.

Whether you're in the mood to sip on a green tea while losing yourself in written words, or share laughs with a friend over coffee (similar to Peter Østergaard’s experience), Waterstones Jermyn Street Cafe invites you to linger. It’s not just a place to eat; it’s a gathering spot that cultivates a love for storytelling, where each visit can be a chance to discover something new. Next time you’re wandering the vibrant streets of London, take a moment to step away from the hustle and immerse yourself in the unique blend of coffee and books that Waterstones offers.

Location and atmosphere is nice, comfortable chairs, view, staff. Internet is slow (I came to do some work and did not progress much , as my pages loaded forever). Selection of food is not my favourite(sweet bakery and packed sandwiches), but is standard for the Waterstones. I would go for a bit healthier options. In general, if you want to have chat with a friend or read a book drinking coffee/having a snack, it is a good place.

Warm ambience the book store itself is huge and I like the fact that I can drink my coffee around so many books. Wi-Fi is also ok.

Coffee was good but apple and toffee cake could have been fresher. Also their WiFi was very slow.
